The design by Dreame
The design of the Dreame H12 Pro is hardly different from that of its predecessor, the Dreame H12. We find the usual tones of anthracite gray and matte and glossy black at Dreame, embellished with a pretty silver edging. Aesthetically, the Dreame H12 Pro will blend perfectly with any decor in your home! Thedesign of the device seems, at first glance, very robust.
The contents of the packaging after unpacking appear as such:

L’appareil pèse 4,9kg mais reste facilement maniable. It pivots very easily from right to left, without the slightest effort.
There is also a dirt indicator on the LCD screen of the device. This indicator will be red for a very dirty floor, orange for medium dirt then will return to green when the floor is completely clean.
We regret that the Dreame H12 Pro is not equipped with connectivity and application. Therefore, it is not possible to check the lifespan of the device components, nor to know when it is necessary to maintain the accessories.All controls are carried out directly on the vacuum cleaner.

Power and autonomy of the Dreame H12 Pro vacuum cleaner
The Dreame H12 Pro has auseful power of 300W, a little more than the | ||708Tineco S7 Pro with a power of 230 W.
The little novelty of the Dreame H12 Pro is itscapacity to be able to clean baseboards on both sides of the brush head. Right side and left side, we will check during the test whether the manufacturer keeps its promise!
The H12 Pro wet and dry vacuum cleaner is equipped with a lithium battery, offeringautonomie de 35 minutes. This autonomy is enough to clean all the rooms in your house in one go. The device is equipped with a900ml clean water tank and a 700ml dirty water tank, convenient for cleaning without interruption and over several surfaces.

Charging station and self-cleaning of the brush
The charging base also serves as storage for the floor scrubber and its accessories. The total charge time is 3 hours, a similar time to mostfloor scrubbers. You will be able to follow the progress of the charging from the LED screen of your device.
It is again on this same charging station that the roller brush of the vacuum cleaner will be cleaned. Simply press the button on the stock to start self-cleaning. The flow of clean water must be sufficient, as well as the battery level (above 15%).
Once the brush cleaning is finished, the Dreame H12 Pro will trigger the drying function. During this operation,the brush is in continuous rotation for complete drying, accompanied by a hot air flow of 55°C. Unlike theWashvac F20 and many other models (including the Tineco S7!) where the brush remains stationary and dried in cold air, this improvement is a great innovation from Dreame.
The drying process lasts 1 hour and is very practical for avoiding odors and bacteria. This way, you will not need to remove the brush from the vacuum cleaner after cleaning to let it dry in the open air, as was the case during ourtest of the Tineco Floor One 5 ! The LED display also shows the progress of the drying process.
Dreame H12 Pro maintenance and noise level
Unlike the Proscenic Washvac F20, the dirty water tank | ||800ne comporte pas de tamis pour filtrer les débris solides. Depending on the nature of the waste vacuumed up, this proves less practical when accidentally vacuuming up small screws, small stones or large pieces of food.
The brush is very easy to remove thanks to the clips located on the suction head of the device. It ispossible to clean it manually, but you will then have to let it dry in the open air for 24 hours before putting it back in place. And then, self-cleaning is done to avoid manual cleaning, right?
The dirty water tank filter can be removed and cleaned very easily too.
Then simply empty the dirty water tank by removing the lid, then rinse it with clean water. A quick wipe will still be necessary on the vacuum cleaner tube and on the dirt sensors before replacing the dirty water tank. Easy as pie!
The sound level of the device is around 74 dB. When using it, we found it much quieter than the Washvac F20 or theOsotek H200.
Our review of the Dreame H12 Pro on different stains and surfaces
You now know the criteria and features of the Dreame H12 Pro. Without further ado, it's time for the test to find out if it keeps its promises!
H12 Pro test on hard floor (tiles)
We chose to use demineralized water for this test, because the tap water in our region is very hard. If this is also the case in your home, you can alternate the two options to maximize the lifespan of all your devices.
The test was carried out on 4 types of liquid stains, spread two hours before cleaning:honey, soy sauce, coffee grounds and sunflower oil. We added a capful of cleaning solution provided by Dreame. Note that it is possible to use otherproducts in your vacuum cleaner.
We started by cleaning the honey, which is very sticky and resistant. Not surprisingly, we felt that the device was forcing itself during each pass to clean the stain.After 4 passes, the honey had completely disappeared! On the other hand, the floor scrubber advances alone by a mechanical drive and we had to block it with our foot to stop its movement and put it in the “parking” position.
We then focused on the other three liquid spots.A single pass was enough to remove the soy sauce and coffee grounds. For sunflower oil,3 passes were necessary to remove the greasy film on the ground. This test with different liquid stains is therefore a success!
Dreame announcesimproved cleaning of edges and plinths with the H12 Pro. To check this, we spread coffee grounds as close as possible to the edges of a piece of furniture. We first cleaned the edge of the furniture using the right side of the vacuum cleaner. After just one pass, the result was impeccable!
We repeated the operation, this time on the left side of the device. The result is also very conclusive. Both sides were cleaned with a single pass of the Dreame H12 Pro. Here is the result in pictures.
This test on hard floor finished remarkably well, with instant drying of the surface!
Test of the Dreame H12 Pro on carpet
Even if the H12 Pro is not intended for use on rugs or carpets, we still wanted to carry out a small test on an entrance mat.
To do this, we had to hold the carpet with our foot. In fact, the force of the vacuum cleaner was so powerful that the carpet slid backwards with each pass. After 5 passes on the carpet, we see that it has been properly cleaned of large debris. Concerning animal hairs hanging on, they always are, without much surprise! Finally, the carpet was slightly dampened by the floor washer, but dried very quickly.
The result is quite satisfactory, even if the carpet is not completely clean.
Test of the H12 Pro on an outdoor terrace
For our last test, we tried to clean an outdoor terrace. Usually, this type of cleaning is done using soapy water, a push broom and a squeegee to remove the water and dry the surface. It's winter, so the terrace is dirty with soil, plant twigs and dog hair.
The result is there! The cleaning was very quick and we were free of all the usual and bulky equipment. Here is the contents of the dirty water tank after all these tests: muddy and very dirty water, hair, fur, dust…
The brush included is very practical for removing residue at the bottom of the tank. Theautonomy of the tanks was more than sufficient for uninterrupted maintenance of the various surfaces.
To finish, we started the self-cleaning of the brush, without emptying the dirty water tank first. The capacity was sufficient and there was no water leakage during the self-cleaning, which lasted an hour. After testing the brush on several very dirty areas, the result is quite surprising: it is soft and clean as the first day! To conclude, the Dreame H12 Pro is quite disconcertingly easy to maintain!!

Our opinion on the Dreame H12 pro summary
After these tests, it is with great conviction that the Dreame H12 Pro offers great performance for floor maintenance.Our opinion is therefore very positive.
We note apowerful suction of 300W, superior to its main competitor, Tineco . Vacuuming while washing is a significant time saver. The different cleaning modes as well as the parking function make it a versatile and very practical device.
The autonomy of 35 minutes and the generous water tanksallowed us a uninterrupted cleaning on multiple surfaces. Theself-cleaning brush and theefficient drying process add to the strengths of the Dreame H12 Pro.
Thelack of connectivity and application is disappointing, however. It is not possible to check the condition of the device and its components. Theparking position is also not very ergonomic due to the strong mechanical drive of the device forward. Finally, we note theabsence of LED light for easier detection of dust. The device's dirt sensors are not powerful enough to detect the presence of dust on the floor.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a high-performance vacuum cleaner, the Dreame H12 Pro is an excellent choice! Offered at 300 euros less than the Tineco S7 pro, in our opinionthe best vacuum cleaner in value for money.

On the other hand, you will need a small extra vacuum cleaner to clean your sofa or for more occasional cleaning actually. I recommend the inexpensive Lubluelu 202 stick vacuum cleaner for this. It costs less than €100 and it is reliable (we tested it).
